A group of like-minded people came together in 1994 to make a little difference in the lives of families who were economically disadvantaged with regard to the children. Late Fr. John Noronha, a well-known social worker took the initiative to formalize the efforts this group wanted to innate. Hence on 22.07.1994, the Society registered under

Societies Registration Act 1961 bearing the no. S/77463.
