St. Philip’s Nursery School started on 16 th June 2008 through the initiative of Late Fr.

John Noronha, the Founder Secretary of Calcutta SEED. When it first started as a

Nursery School there were only 2 children. The very next year the number of children

increased to 21. Presently there are 40 children in the Nursery school. Mrs. Manjula

Ghosh, began taking care of this school after her retirement from Meghmala Roy

Education Centre, Behala, together with a dedicated band of teachers.
